The learners Academy provides quality English tuition in a group as well as in a one to one setting according to the national curriculum. We specialise in the English language and focus on providing a friendly and productive environment conducive to learning. Our fun learning atmosphere and small class sizes are an ideal place for children to develop and enhance their vocabulary and creative writing skills.
Students are guided on improving their comprehension and are encouraged to acquire a confident and proficient writing style. Progress is measured on a monthly basis and exam practice given regularly so that the students are well prepared for every key stage. Students generally join our tuition in Year 7 and carry on until GCSE. We work closely with all students and create individual learning plans to ensure successful results. Most of our students therefore do brilliantly and achieve A s and A*s.
GCSE students are given a sound knowledge of all the relevant papers. The anthology of poetry, novels and media are taught thoroughly and exam questions are discussed meticulously in order for the students to achieve an optimum grade. Consistent home work is set to reinforce class-work and promote exam technique.
